The real problem with the world

by Josh at 3:51 pm

I saw a card for The Leftist Lounge pinned up in one of my coworkers cubes today. The card caught my eye for a specific reason that I intend to blog about later; but for now, I want to post this Moliere quote I found on their web site:
All the ills of mankind, all [...]

Innocent Escapes

by Susannah at 2:49 pm

So, it’s my turn to post a completely hi-larious internet oddity.
Go here for an innocent escape
Apparently, Brawny towels decided to revamp the image of the Brawnyman. I recommend the premade clip “Your Hair, It’s Perfect” and using a combination in the custom made clips using “pickle jar” and “serenade.” I think Josh should [...]

The [...]

Blogging my DVDs

by Josh at 4:35 pm

I recently received two DVD sets for my birthday: MacGyver – Season 1 and Battlestar Galactica the SciFi channel miniseries. I have comments to make on both of these.
MacGyver:
Ok, I was eight years old when the first season came out and I don’t think that I actually started watching until the second season. [...]

The Ides has passed without monkey knife fights

by Susannah at 3:05 am

I’ve theoretically been trying to buckle down and be more efficient since I passed the halfway mark of the semester yesterday by finishing most of my midterms. But I’m exhausted and the weather is sunny and gorgeous. I was in such a happy mood yesterday as I took the bus home at 5 (after sitting [...]

Beer is good for you – part 2

by Josh at 6:48 pm

I’m going to blog all of the evidence I find for this.
This article talks about the benefits of having a beer when grilling. Apparently charred meat is carcinogenic. But a good beer can help stop the DNA breakdown that occurs when you consume charred meat.
